To help avoid long waits for expensive engineered repair details, Barrette Structural Distribution has developed repair details for the most common field situations. TRIFORCE floor truss repair details are simple and do not require removal or replacement of an entire joist. Common materials and techniques can be easily used by framers on-site. RTF-001-20 – Joist cut all the way
RTF-002-20 – Cut diagonal web member
RTF-003-20 – Cut diagonal web member, with pipe
RTF-004-20 – Strongbacks replacement in an existing floor
RTF-005-20 – Cut 2×3 or 2×4 top chord
RTF-006-20 – Notched 2×3 or 2×4 top chord, less than half the width, with a pipe
RTF-007-20 – Notched 2×3 or 2×4 chord, more than half the width, with a pipe
RTF-008-20 – Notched 2×3 top chord, cut less than half the width (OSB not cut), with pipe
RTF-009-20 – Notched 2×4 top chord, cut less than half the width (OSB pannel not cut), with pipe
